Project Overview

The solution was initially piloted in 2016 with one of the University’s 6 colleges prior to a formal partnership with Akari Software for the implementation of the solution university wide in 2017-2018, which included collaboration to enhance and extend some facets of the product suite.

The University’s key drivers for the project were:

  • CMA compliance,
  • robust curriculum version control,
  • collaborative curriculum development, approval and modification workflows,
  • a singular source of curriculum truth to support the university as a whole and
  • improved publication and innovation in the presentation of curriculum data to
    stakeholders (prospects, applicants, students, staff, etc.).

University of the Arts London is a collegiate university in London, England, specialising in arts, design, fashion and the performing arts.

It is a federation of six arts colleges: Camberwell College of Arts, Central Saint Martins, Chelsea College of Arts, the London College of Communication, the London College of Fashion, and the Wimbledon College of Arts. It was established as a university in 2003, and took its present name in 2004.
