UTAS AND AKARI SOFTWARE: REVOLUTIONISING CURRICULUM MANAGEMENT

The Tasmanian Institute of Learning & Teaching, in collaboration with Akari Software, successfully implemented the Curriculum Lifecycle, Management and Publication (CLMP) Project at the University of Tasmania in 2019. This strategic initiative has transformed how UTAS manages its academic programmes and curriculum data.

Training and Implementation

Since the full rollout of Akari in early 2019, the University of Tasmania has utilised a “train the trainer” approach to ensure effective adoption. Staff involved in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and the initial ‘Go Live’ phase received extensive training and have since educated their colleagues with ongoing support from the Project Team and the Tasmanian Institute of Learning and Teaching (TILT).
