Junior Delivery Consultant / Customer Success / Implementation – (Hybrid/Remote)

Role Overview

As a Junior Delivery Consultant in the Shared Services team, you will support both customer onboarding and customer success (service delivery). You will contribute to the implementation of new software solutions for incoming clients, and support existing clients through upgrades, enhancements, and the delivery of new projects on previously implemented solutions. This is a hands-on, varied role that requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills within a shared services environment. 

Success in this role requires excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow structured project plans, and clear, consistent communication with the project manager to ensure progress is tracked and issues are escalated appropriately 

You’ll be exposed to a wide range of technologies and methodologies while developing deep expertise in the Akari Curriculum Management solution and the Higher Education domain. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of software implementations from discovery through to configuration, testing, training and go-live.
  • Participate in post-production projects delivering enhancements and adding functionality for existing clients
  • Work collaboratively with customers to gather and define business requirements and translate these into effective software configurations.
  • Configure and test Akari solutions to meet client-specific needs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements. Support delivery of upgrades for existing clients.
  • Attend and contribute to client facing workshops and meetings
  • Deliver product training and documentation to end-users.
  • Create and maintain detailed implementation and support documentation (e.g., training guides, configuration specifications).
  • Provide technical support during user acceptance testing (UAT) and production rollout.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Development, QA) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, track risks and issues, and report regularly to the project manager.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of delivery, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and aligned with the project plan.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships with a focus on service excellence.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes and tools.
  • Perform any other duties appropriate to the role, including supporting other teams across the company where necessary due to workload demands.

 

Essential Skills and Experience

 

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (e.g., IT, Business Systems, Engineering).
  • Proactive and curious mindset with a strong desire to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic SQL skills or technical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Right to live and work in Ireland.

 

Desirable Skills and Experience

 

  • Business analysis or requirements gathering experience.
  • Experience in software configuration and testing.
  • Familiarity with loading and mapping data between systems as part of system configuration or data migration processes.
  • Exposure to the Higher Education sector or enterprise SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools.
  • Awareness of Agile, PRINCE2, or other project methodologies.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of client service dynamics.

  • Training and mentoring will be provided, including opportunities to shadow senior consultants.
