MortarCAPS
The MortarCAPS Higher Learning Data Standard is the world’s first CAUDIT HERM-aligned data standard, designed by the sector for the sector.
MCDS provides a structured, interoperable framework for managing higher learning data. It empowers institutions to simplify complex systems, foster innovation, and support national and global reporting requirements.
Our Partnership
Akari has partnered with MortarCAPS to align Curriculum Management with the MortarCAPS Higher Learning Data Standard (MCDS)—a sector-led, not-for-profit standard built on the CAUDIT HERM model and developed with CAUDIT, CUCCIO, and working groups representing 100+ institutions.
By adopting a shared data language, Akari customers can reduce bespoke data mapping, improve interoperability across their higher learning ecosystem, and support cleaner downstream reporting and analytics. This standards-based approach helps institutions move faster with less integration risk, while Akari stays focused on delivering robust, modern Curriculum Management—now on foundations that are designed to scale across vendors and regions.
“Curriculum systems are the keystone of university data, and we understand how vital it is for our customers to have solutions that integrate effortlessly across their digital ecosystem. Our partnership with AMOS.ie represents a strategic alignment in the higher education space, bringing together deep expertise in curriculum management and a shared commitment to supporting the evolving needs of higher education institutions. This collaboration is designed to reduce complexity, enhance connectivity, and deliver smarter, more efficient data-informed operations – ultimately helping our customers focus more on delivering exceptional learning experiences.“
